Menghan ZHAO received her Bachelor degree of Public Administration and Master degree of Economics from Renmin University of China. Her work, which focuses primarily on fertility transitions, low fertility, census data evaluation in China, has been published in some leading demographic journals in China. Her current research focuses on the postponement of childbearing behavior in China and population projections under different birth control policy designs. She also works on the research topic of association between infant health and environment.
